If I was at fault in an accident, can you help me?

Unfortunately, in this instance, we won’t be able to help you with a replacement loan car or repairs. As the at fault party, we recommend you make a claim on your own insurance policy to ensure you and the not at fault party receive everything you’re entitled to. Afterall, this is why you pay your insurance premiums, so you’re protected when things go wrong.

Will it impact my insurance policy if I don’t make a claim?

Using our services won’t impact your current policy if you:
– Are a not at fault driver – Provide all documents reasonably required (including a copy of your physical driver’s licence)
– Be open and honest with us and don’t mislead us in any way
-Act in the best interest of TAMMS

I don’t have insurance. Can you still help me?

Yes, we can! As the not at fault driver, you’re not required to make an insurance claim. If you meet our eligibility criteria, , we can help you with a like for like replacement car, deliver it to your home or work and arrange repairs to your damaged vehicle. Call our team on 1800 956 390

What information do I need to get my application assessed?

Take plenty of photos, collect the at fault driver’s details including, their driver’s licence number, contact information, car registration and insurance information.

Will I be liable for any costs?

No, under our agreement with you, you will not be liable for the rental costs as long as you are not at fault, you assist us in the recovery of the costs from the at fault party or their insurer, and otherwise act in accordance with the terms and conditions of our agreement. You’ll still need to pay for petrol, tolls and any traffic or parking infringements as you would in your own car.

My repairs are already started, can I just get the replacement car?

Yes, if you are the not at fault driver, we can help you with a like for like replacement car and deliver it to your home or work. Call our team on 1800 956 390

My damaged car isn’t roadworthy. How do I get it to the repairer?

Don’t worry, we’ll look after the towing for you aswell. We’ll arrange for your car to be collected from your home or a holding yard and delivered to the repair centre. If you’re still at the scene of the accident, we can either arrange a tow truck for you or assist you to arrange it, depending on the rules in your particular state. The cost of the tow truck will be recovered through the at fault party insurer.
