As the not at fault driver, will I need to pay for anything?

Under Right2Drive’s agreement with you, you will not be liable for the rental costs provided you are not at fault, assist them in recovery of those costs from the at fault driver or their insurer and otherwise act in accordance with the terms and conditions of their agreement.

If they require your assistance in recovering the rental costs, this may include you having to provide documents, statements, and in some rare cases, appearing in court as a witness in proceedings they bring in your name.

You are responsible for vehicle use costs such as:

  • Fuel
  • Tolls (and their related administrative fees)
  • Traffic or parking infringements (and their related administrative fees).

In some circumstances, you may also be required to pay costs related to:

  • Vehicle cleaning for a vehicle returned in poor condition
  • Unacceptable wear & tear
  • Excess or damage if you damage our vehicle and do not abide by the terms and conditions of our agreement.
